Our Smile Transformation Process
Phase One: Consultation and Treatment Plan
Your personalized consultation consists of a discussion of your smile goals with Dr. Goldstein as well as what you can expect with treatment. You may also receive an evaluation and diagnostics to help us plan your case. Even if you have gum disease or extensive bone loss, our expertise in periodontics will help you qualify for full arch dental implants. Next, we’ll use state-of-the-art implant software to develop a personalized treatment plan that reflects your smile goals and oral health needs. Your next appointment will be your dental implant placement.
Phase Two: Dental Implant Surgery
We’ll place between 4-8 dental implants around your jaw using custom-made surgical guides. With this guide, we can better ensure an exact surgery and predictable placement of the implants in your jaw. This accuracy not only helps guarantee the lifespan of your dental implants but the aesthetic outcomes of your final bridge of teeth as well. Dr. Goldstein will also provide specialized soft tissue treatments to further optimize the natural appearance of your new smile.
Phase Three: Healing and Final Teeth
You’ll need to wait 3+ months after surgery for the dental implants to fully integrate with the bone. This will build the secure foundation needed to support a full arch of fixed teeth. When this healing phase is complete, your restorative dentist will begin the process of designing your final restoration. This bridge of teeth is often custom-designed from a solid block of zirconia, one of the strongest and most life-like prosthetic materials available. Your new teeth will look and feel real, with the strength to function normally for the rest of your life!
